The Center for Generational Kinetics (CGK) is honored to have collaborated with RealPage on their brand-new, groundbreaking National Renter Study\u2014a testament to the power of bringing data to life so leaders can take practical action. CGK’s president Jason Dorsey in partnership with Jay Parsons unveiled the new, actionable, and valuable insights to over 1,400 industry professionals at RealWorld 2023 in Las Vegas!<\/p>\n

The new study revealed that 48% of the 2,000 renters surveyed see renting as a pathway to financial flexibility. Moreover, an eye-opening 51% of Generation Z views renting as a favorable alternative to home ownership. These insights emphasize the shifting perceptions within the U.S. rental market. The study also shed light on the changing preferences of renters in communicating with property management.<\/p>\n

A study of this magnitude took many months of collaboration and work to design, field, and deeply analyze. It was inspiring for Jason and Team CGK to see firsthand the passion and focus on data-driven discovery that the entire RealPage, Inc.<\/a><\/b> team brings to their industry. One of Jason’s favorite parts of the research reveal was the engaging Q&A segment, which featured industry insights from RealPage’s industry-expert Jay Parsons\u2014Jay lit up the room with his wit and deep understanding of the rental industry.<\/p>\n
