According to our <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"\/experiences-win-possessions-new-year-new-travel-priorities\/\" rel=\"noopener\">recent study on Gen Z and Millennial travelers<\/a><\/span> with Expedia, 65% of Millennials are specifically saving money to spend on travel. And nearly half of Millennials said they would sell their clothes or furniture to travel more.<\/p>\n<p>So <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"\/heres-millennials-china-changing-travel-industry\/\" rel=\"noopener\">just how far<\/a><\/span> will Millennials go to quench this desire to travel and find unique experiences?<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4606\" src=\"https:\/\/genhq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Space-Travel.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"870\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Millennials want to go to space.<\/h4>\n<p>According to a recent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/fact-tank\/2018\/06\/07\/space-tourism-majority-of-americans-say-they-wouldnt-be-interested\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Pew Research Center survey<\/span><\/a> on space tourism, Millennials were the most likely generation (63%) to say they would be interested in a space travel vacation. This is compared to only 39% of Gen X and 27% of Baby Boomers who said they would be interested.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, only about 42% of Americans in total said they would be interested, making Millennials far and away the most interested out of any group.<\/p>\n<h4>What is driving this trend?<\/h4>\n<p>The survey found that among the 42% of Americans who said they would be interested in traveling into space, the most common reason given was to \u201cexperience something unique.\u201d Millennials are always on the lookout for exclusive or <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"\/experiences-win-possessions-new-year-new-travel-priorities\/\" rel=\"noopener\">unique experiences<\/a>,<\/span> so space vacations seem like a perfect fit for this generation.<\/p>\n<p>Of course once space travel becomes a reality, the high price becomes the biggest obstacle to getting there.
