(Photo by David Becker)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This was Dorsey\u2019s second time to keynote the high-profile event which hosts leading bank, credit union, and FinTech leaders from across the U.S. and around the world. Dorsey shared his brand-new research on Gen Z and money, banking, saving and investing. He also shared how Gen Z and Millennials are <em>dramatically<\/em> diverging in their views about money, which may have a profound long-term effect on the generations and the economy.<\/p>\n<p>Dorsey said after the Forum, \u201cMany people say that Gen Z is simply a more extreme continuation of the Millennial generation, but that is not true. Generation Z is wholly different from Millennials in terms of their views of work, money, spending, technology, and so much more. Our extensive research at The Center comparing these generations has highlighted numerous emerging trends that we believe will profoundly impact business.<\/p>\n<p>The emergence of Millennials definitely caught many business leaders off guard. It\u2019s our mission at The Center for Generational Kinetics to make sure the same does not happen with Gen Z\u2019s rapid emergence. The more educated and prepared business leaders are for Gen Z\u2019s emergence as employees, customers, and trendsetters, the better it will be for every generation\u2014not just Gen Z.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dorsey went on to add, \u201cI loved speaking at the Financial Brand Forum and separating generational myth from truth thru data.
